Fees Policy
Learning Programmes -
All learning programmes are free to anyone who is able to declare and evidence their unemployment status and potential to improve their skills and move forward towards employment.
These programmes are funded by one of the following:

CITB

Better Together Programmes
Evidence of unemployment will be sourced at the start of the programme.
Commercial Courses
Course Fees/Charges to individual Learners
Abbey Access Training will make the following charges for its range of Commercial Programmes:

CIEH Level 2 Emergency First Aid £75.00 per person

CIEH Level 1 Fire Safety Awareness £50.00 per person

CIEH Level 2 Fire Safety Principles £50.00 per person

CIEH Level 2 COSHH £50.00 per person

CIEH Level 2 Principles & Practice of £50.00 per person
Manual Handling

Course Fees/Charges for Corporate Companies
Abbey Access Training will make the following charges for its range of Commercial Programmes (based on 10 learners per company):

Refunds
A full refund of fees will only be given if the Abbey Access Training cancels the course.
If a learner/company decides to withdraw from a course before it begins the following charges will be made:

More than four weeks before the course starts – Full Refund
-
Two weeks before the course starts – 50% refund
-
Less than 7 days before the course starts – No refund
* All learners/companies will be allowed to change the date on one occasion only
The Centre Manager may consider full or partial refunds in exceptional circumstances where the learner has received poor service from the Centre.
Decisions on refunds are the responsibility of the Centre Manager. If the learner/company wishes to dispute the Centre Manager’s decision, the Centre will inform the learner of their right to appeal using the company complaints procedure.
Review and Evaluation
This fees policy takes effect from 1st August 2025 and will be reviewed annually.
